CRMWA is accepting applications for a Maintenance Tech I position within its Dam and Aqueduct System crew at its Headquarters facility located in Sanford. Starting hourly rate for this position is $22.47. A comprehensive benefits package includes accrued vacation and sick leave, 100% coverage for employee health and dental with a $15,000 life insurance policy. CRMWA offers a 401(a) plan for employees with an employee contribution of 7% and organization contribution of 14%. A 4-day, 10-hours per day work week and a company vehicle. QUALIFICATIONS​

Any combination of education or experience that would likely provide the necessary knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Graduation from high school or equivalent

Possession of a valid Texas driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Authority's Vehicle Insurance Policy

RESPONSIBILITIES (Please review job description for the essential job functions)

​Inspects, maintains repairs and operates dam, aqueducts, valves, dam, spillway, outlet tower, and other aqueduct and reservoir facilities

Performs semi-skilled work in a variety of trades in the installation, construction, repair, maintenance, and inspection of the Authority's buildings and facilities

Installs, maintains, and repairs fences, gates, culverts, drains and small size piping, and erosion control installations, burns brush and weeds; removes garbage, rubbish, or other material that may pose a fire or water pollution hazard

Performs in a safe manner and established policies, procedures and safety measures are followed

Operates a variety of construction equipment such as a backhoe, fork lift, skid steer, dozers, etc

Performs work at heights and in enclosed structures when required

Operates assigned vehicles skillfully and safely; inspects and fuels vehicles; reports the need for repairs and service; observes safe driving practices
